Gender Studies Majors are a joke. Sequence, whataver jive words you wanna use to describe it. Bottom line, CJ has owned all his critics and the proof is in the pudding (i.e prize money, job offers, and professional options that really have no end in sight). I graduated with a 3.58 and completed an honors thesis that will be a book by the end of this year. Perhaps the reason I didn't win any of the academic awards is that I was busy putting myself through school and that those awards are politically decided (which people have since admitted).
I think it speaks volumes about academia. When a gender studies major is the valedictorian, the ivory tower crumbles indeed. --Charles
