File this under: Be careful what you write in your thesis... because you have no idea how it will be used. (I oppose releasing those theses because I think it is is a violation of student privacy, but that's a post for later this week.)
Sasha Farina CMC '11 has bravely come forward now that the J-Board has taken place and wants the campus to know what transpired at Michael Wilner's trial. I'm told that she is appealing the trial to Pam Gann, but can't confirm this at this time.
Anyways, we've already gone over how Wilner's tried to impugn Farina's character. That backfired when Farina admitted to being on ecstasy when Wilner punched her in the face repeatedly. But Wilner wasn't finished.
Despite saying in his statement -- which I will be posting later this week -- that he would be invoking his silence, Wilner did no such thing. He interrogated Sasha about her boyfriend's thesis.
Wilner -- who asked that internet sources not be used against him in the trial, according to his statement -- resorted to reading p. 33 of Ambrose Colombo's thesis. (Colombo is Farina's boyfriend, the same boyfriend Wilner unprovoked called a loser after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.)
Next shocker: People have sex in college.

"The elitist MDMA London scene had yet to come to the realization that a “combination of ecstasy and electronic dance music had genuine transformative power: it could deliver altered states of consciousness; experiences which changed the way we felt, the way we thought, the way we lived.” (Collin vii). This was meant to show that -- gasp!-- people in college do drugs. We'll ignore the science about ecstasy. Can't have that pesky science getting in the way!
