You Know You Screwed Up When You Are Written About By the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

I live off campus so I immediately hung up on the phone message when I realized it was nothing important.

Apparently, some other people freaked out or something, so it made the news. File this one under "Claremont safety being incompetent" or "Gross overreaction by student body."

Employees at the Claremont Colleges got a scare this morning when campus security accidentally sent out an email calling for the evacuation of all campuses.

The original e-mail was sent out about 8:10 a.m. saying there was an emergency situation that required all the colleges be evacuated. About two minutes later, another e-mail was sent out saying everything was clear.

About 8:30 a.m., campus safety officials sent a third e-mail explaining that the first two were sent out by accident.

I know you are just as shocked as I am that it doesn't include his arrest record or the allegations of criminal assault. Isn't that "multifaceted"?
