Claremont police caught a suspected car burglar this morning after the owner of the vehicle confronted him and called 9-1-1.
Michael Wade, 22, of Pomona, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possessing burglary tools and violating parole, said police Lt. Karlan Bennett.
A resident in the 500 block of West San Jose Avenue heard the car alarm going off on his van at 2:33 a.m., so he went to check on the car. He saw a man standing next to his van and the sliding door was open, police said.
The burglar ran away when the car owner confronted him. Police later found Wade in front of an apartment complex. The victim identified him as the burglary suspect.

Does this actually motivate you to purchase a firearm? A random dude breaking into minivans and who runs when caught? A firearm in this case only makes you the problem... but then again, overreaction and a lack of common sense have characterized nearly everything you do. Whether or not it's sarcastic it still represents your need for sensationalism and exaggeration.
