Judy Augsburger, Sr. Director Advancement-Communications, Harvey Mudd College has left a new comment on your post "Mudd Philosophy Professor Busted in Pot Raid":Sometimes I really, really love the Claremont Colleges. Here's why:
Anthony Wicher never worked at Harvey Mudd College in any capacity. His father, Enos Wicher, taught physics at HMC from 1961-1977.

ONTARIO - Narcotics officials arrested a man Tuesday afternoon for growing nearly $30,000 worth of marijuana in his garage.
An anonymous call about marijuana activity Tuesday afternoon tipped patrol officers to the home of 64-year-old Anthony Wicher in the 600 block of East Fourth Street, said Sgt. David McBride, with Ontario police.
After receiving consent to enter the home from the owner, officers found between 75 and 100 marijuana plants growing in the garage, McBride said.
"Guessing from the quality of the plants, the street value for the plants could be anywhere between $20,000 and $30,000," he said.
Outside of the Craftsman-style home, waiting in the driveway, was Maria Elena Bentley who lived on the second floor of the garage. Bentley said she was asked to leave her residency by the cops around 5 p.m.
Bentley said she never saw any suspicious activity around the home but there was a strong odor emitting from the garage.
"There was really strong smell, it was pungent," she said. "It made me sick."
Described as someone who is politically minded, Bentley also said Wicher worked as a philosophy professor at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont.
"You have to meet him, he defies description," Bentley said. "He's an old hippie from the 60s."
I looked him up on Facebook -- yes, really -- and here's how he describes himself.
I am a patriotic American who believes that our country is in great danger because of corrupt elements in our security apparatus and that we the people must organize and act now to take it back.
