- Claremont McKenna is giving an honorary degree to Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah (try saying that ten times fast!). Unfortunately, he will not be taking questions from the audience. But if he were, it might be worthwhile to ask him why his country is trying to develop nuclear power with the French. Aren't the Kuwaitis swimming in oil? Likely, it's to counter a nuclear Iran, which our government seems to have all but accepted.
