I spoke to the New Mexico Republican Party’s communications director today about his running in the primary as a Republican. The problem is that anyone who is a registered Republican can choose to run in a primary race. There’s nothing that can legally be done to keep him from identifying himself as a Republican, despite the fact that he holds absolutely no conservative or Republican principles. He talks like a patriot now, but what about his actions over the past six years? Apparently, we’re supposed to just forget all about them, and there are apparently plenty who are willing to do that. Kokesh is now appearing on Fox News with Judge Napolitano. He’s been endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus, the 912 Project, and of course, Ron Paul. He’s being praised as a “constitutional candidate”, which is utter bull considering he encourages members of the military to break their oath to always defend the Constitution. The man is a disgrace to the country and especially to the Marine Corps.
Yet he’s raising money. He’s getting attention.
There’s another option for District 3 Republicans: Tom Mullins. He deserves our support, and Kokesh deserves to be exposed as the anti-military, anti-American traitor that he is. If you know anyone who lives in New Mexico, make sure to pass this on and get the word out. We can’t let Kokesh get away with such a blatant lie. His home is not in the Republican Party, and unfortunately, the only way to ensure that is to make sure he does not get elected. So help us expose him for the traitorous fraud he is.

He flew the flag upside down not as a sign of disrespect, but as a sign of distress. The Flag Code states that the flag may be flown upside down "as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property" (Title 36, section 176). So this was an outgrowth of his feelings on the Long War. I understand that normally inverting symbols attempts to invert their meanings, but the US flag is different.

The "dire distress" would be the ignorant, stubborn support of unConstitutional, illegal occupations of third world countries for wars that should never have been started that are stealing the lives of millions of innocents and American soldiers, promoting torture, bankrupting the country further and making the US into an impoverished, despised nation of greedy, warmongering bullies led by a tyrannical government owned by bankers and special interests.
This is exactly why the Republican party is in decline, and will die out unless they mend their ways.
They are alienating classic republicans and molding their party so only war loving, religious loving zealots actually get to voice an opinion. I also forgot about the air headed, hypocritical Palin-esque dolts.
I never thought I'd see the day when a fiscally conservative, constitution loving candidate would be called a fake Republican.
To any tea party members who read this, get out while you still can. The Republican party does not want anyone fiscally conservative. Better to join the Dems. At least the Dems aren't being dishonest about their preferences.
You just reminded me to donate more money to the Adam Kokesh fund. It's time to get some help for Ron Paul.
