Perhaps because it is in conjunction with a lecture about "revolutionary movements?" Is that not a worthy outlet for scholarship, teaching, and learning? Surely you will not deny that Che Guevara was influential -- influential things deserve study, and study does not imply endorsement. In order to have a decent understanding of 20th century Latin American political movements, I'd say that studying Che is unavoidable -- as is studying Marx, Bolivar, T Roosevelt, Allende, and Pinochet, to name but a few from various ideological stripes. As someone who is just as opposed to Che's ideology as I'm sure you are, I can assure you that that e-mail is innocuous. Stop rabble-rousing.
