"Lavishly Funded Nunneries"? Talking Points Memo Fails to Ridicule CMC's Government Department

Talking Points Memo, a leftist blog, attacks Claremont McKenna (and other schools) for housing a supposed

". . . lavishly funded nunneries for failed, aging neo-cons are sprouting or entrenching themselves at Yale, Duke, George Mason, Claremont McKenna, Chicago, and elsewhere."

He uses these four data points to argue that academia isn't seriously far the left. Kind of a joke, I know.

1.) There are no neocons in Claremont McKenna. See Straussians.
2.) Few of our government professors could be counted as "failed."

Of course, our government department remains one of the few places on this campus where you can still get a classically liberal education.
