I haven't joined the legions of people who apparently tweet away. In part, I don't trust myself with it. I feel like I'd just be writing things all the time. But that doesn't mean I won't use it to find blog posts about our fair college.
For Twitter to be something really cool that I use nearly every day, it's going to have to come up with something that's the equivalent of Google news alerts, whereby I receive an email or SMS every time someone metions CMC or the other five colleges. If this already exists, let me know.
I learned just recently that someone had tweeted a blog post that I wrote and so I figured, what the heck, let's check it out. (At around the same time, I watched Evan Williams, founder of Twitter, give a somewhat lackluster talk at Ted.com.) I've become a Twitter search fiend ever since.
Here is some of the more interesting posts in the last few weeks.
