Friends and others,
I will be leaving in twelve hours for Guatemala. Though I pledge to blog whenever I get the chance, I may not get too many chances given that it is a third world country with unreliable internet.
I will be there for the inauguration of the president (Hugo Chavez lands the same day as I do) and will be visiting a mine. I will also be visiting Francisco Marroquin University, a one of its kind libertarian college in Guatemala that has two wonderfully named auditoriums, the F.A. Hayek auditorium and the Milton Friedman lecture hall, and a history that would make Claremont McKenna proud. There I will get a tour while my uncle interviews Jonathan Stossel of ABC.
It's a jam-packed itinerary, but I'm working on some good stuff for when I come back. Nobody do anything too newsworthy while I'm out of the country, okay?
